Summate to Participate in GS1 Panel in Las Vegas

Summate Technologies announced today that it will participate in a 1 hour breakout session at the GS1 Connect annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in June of this year.
Session Title:
Leveraging Innovation in the OR to Capture Data Standards and Increase Efficiency
Description:
As healthcare continues to move toward utilizing data standards, the way in which that consumption occurs is also evolving. Point of use scanning solutions have taken data standards to the edge of the sterile field, improving workflow efficiency and documentation accuracy. Now, technology is making it possible to expand the capture of standardized device data at the point of use in the sterile field. In the pursuit of the quadruple aim, it is possible to align and integrate the capture of data, improve clinical work flow and efficiency, and recognize cost savings while accomplishing digital management of procurement and inventory. This session will discuss that evolution and the value of this innovation and what it is driving for providers, suppliers and the patients they serve.
Panel Members:
Matthew Mentel, President, SOIPUS (Moderator)
Betty Jo Rocchio, CNO. Mercy System, St Louis
James Tcheng, MD. Duke Health System
Phil Sayles, Founder/CEO. Summate Technologies, Inc.
